Enjoy your day to day life
God wants to bless you and for you to have joy in life. Your attitude plays a big part in it. Your attitude isn’t around you, it’s in you. It’s about how you decide to look at things.
Choose to receive the gifts God has for you. Accept what is being offered to because he wants you to have them.
Receiving is different than getting
To get something often means to obtain by struggle and effort. When you receive something you make the choice to take accept what’s offered to you willingly.
Believe and receive what Jesus has already given you by faith. God’s not looking for someone deserving, but for those who know they aren’t, but will receive anyway and give him the glory.
God is There for You
He wants to help you with major situations and the less significant ones. God wants to be there when you’re desperate and when your not.
He loves you and cares about what you care about. Therefore you can trust him in everything.
You can most certainly trust that he loves and cares for you, and will meet all your needs. You can rely on him instead of worrying and trying to figure things out on your own.
I lift my eyes up to the mountains where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalms 121:1 NIV Bible)
Enjoy Your Blessings
Part of enjoying your day to day life is knowing that he wants to bless you. When a blessing comes your way receive it joyfully.
For example, someone offers to pay for your groceries at the store or pay for your lunch. Rather than saying, “oh no I can’t accept that,” say thank you!
You may have been praying for a blessing in finances because things are tight, or wishing you could find a little relief in your budget.
God hears your prayers and he cares for you. He wants you to have joy in your life as one of his children.
Give Him Praise
When he blesses you thank him. Don’t focus on whether or not you deserve it. He is your heavenly father.
If you’re a parent or someone who spends time with children think about how freely they receive the gifts you have for them.
Chances are they aren’t going to say, “no, I haven’t earned that gift.” They are going to be excited, thankful and happy to receive.
Children don’t need to be convinced to accept your gifts, therefore you shouldn’t need to be convinced to receive what your heavenly father wants you to have.
Remember God’s not looking for someone deserving, but for those who know they don’t deserve it but will receive anyway and give him the glory.
God Knows You
As a child of God, he knows your heart and you have been made righteous through him. Righteousness is a free gift you receive when you accept Jesus Christ as your savior.
It comes to us by grace through faith and it can’t be earned or deserved. There’s no way we can pay for it. Jesus s God’s gift to us, he gave his son so that we can be saved. (See 2 Corinthians 5:21)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)
Don’t Believe the Lie of The Enemy, Trust in God
The devil would like you to believe your not good enough or worth Gods love blessings and gifts. But that’s a lie.
He wants you to be miserable and doesn’t want you to love and trust God. The devil doesn’t want you to enjoy your day to day life; because he’s a thief and a liar.
But you are worth his love blessings and gifts. God wants you to enjoy your day to day life.
The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. ( John 10:10)
God loves you and wants to take care of you, and he will. You can trust in him and know that you are precious in his sight.
As you grow closer to him you will find more joy in life and know that with him you can do anything, and it will get easier to enjoy your day to day life.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 NKJV Bible)
