More than a conqueror that’s what you are in Christ. Don’t put off enjoying your life, make the decision to enjoy it.
Difficult times will come and go but you can get through it because of Jesus. The bible tells us that in Christ we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loves and died for us. (See Romans 8:37 Amplified Bible)
You get the victory before you get the problem. That doesn’t mean that you’ll never have problems, because life does bring troubles.
The gospel of John says in this world you will have trouble, but take heart because he (Jesus) has overcome the world. (See John 16:33 New International Version Bible)
Jesus teaches that we can count on difficulties in life. But as believers, we can be courageous and stay positive. Jesus has deprived the hardship of the power to do any permanent harm to us.
You Can Conquer and Overcome
Hurt, pain, grief, and challenges may come but through Christ, you can overcome them. Being a conqueror is having the confidence in Jesus Christ that no matter what comes up, through him you can handle it.
You can choose to believe with God’s help you can overcome anything that stands in your way.
It’s about knowing that even before the problem comes your going to have victory over it because you are more than a conqueror in Christ.
You choose to believe that you can do what’s needed in life; you’re not afraid of the unknown or live in anxiety about what might happen, because God takes care of you.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those that love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans (8:28)
You know with great confidence that God loves his children. He is deeply concerned about us, about you. He causes all things to work out for the good of those who love him.
Faith to Overcome
If life was perfect we wouldn’t need faith. But faith isn’t about not having problems, it’s about standing up under problems and knowing God is with us and can get us through things.
We can get up in the morning and say, “I expect good things to happen to and through me.” If it’s not a good day have the faith to do it again the next day and the next day; with the intent to enjoy everyday life.
It’ll take time but it makes a difference as your attitude and expectations become more positive.
Joy in Day to Day Life
God wants us to enjoy our everyday life, not just vacation and fun times, but our day to day life.
On the other hand the enemy, the devil wants just the opposite, he doesn’t want us to enjoy anything or ever trust God.
The thief (devil) comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy, I have come (Jesus) that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10 NIV Bible)
Making up your mind to enjoy everyday life is a miracle of God. Joy isn’t around us, it’s in us, it’s an attitude and how we decide to look at things.
More Than Conquerors
Being more than a conqueror isn’t just about handling difficult times, though that’s part of it. It’s about being able to conqueror the feelings or emotions that would steal your joy, hope, and peace.
If God is for us who can be against us, God works in all things for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (See Romans 8:28 and 31)
You are loved and the victory is already won through Jesus Christ.
When you understand and accept this it becomes easier to enjoy the gift of enjoying everyday life that Jesus wants for you.
